The Human Spirit is the Key to Mental Emotional and Physical Health

The key to understanding the connection between all these parts of our self is the energy body, the subtle energy system, the missing link to health, happiness and freedom, on all levels, a real existing part of us that is totally ignored and unaccepted as reality in conventional approaches to mental health, and yet, the energy body, the spirit person, the human spirit is the key to health on all levels.

The Mental Health Foundation has defined a mentally healthy individual as one who can:

  • Develop emotionally, creatively, intellectually and spiritually
  • Initiate develop and sustain satisfying personal relationships
  • Face problems, resolve and learn from them
  • Be confident and assertive
  • Be aware of others and empathize with them
  • Use and enjoy solitude
  • Play and have fun
  • Laugh at themselves and the world

So how did we develop mental health issues and problems?

Let’s explore this from the point of view of the human energy system, the human spirit.

We have an energy body. We can’t see it, though some technologies do allow us to see energy fields of living things. Some talk about the aura, chakras, and meridians for energy to flow in the energy body. Many successful healing therapies are based on the existence of the energy system and restoring flow when it is blocked. And this is the key, finding blockage and restoring flow in the energy system.

So how does it get blocked in the first place? Ah well, that’s life. Our energy system is processing life events, people, nature, things in through and out of the energy system, in the same way as the physical body processes food in through and out. We eat, digest, circulate, metabolize, get energy from, and are regenerated by, then eliminate the food that we eat. That’s in through and out, changing us in the process. When everything is flowing well, we body processes are healthy. If we get blockage in any are problems and symptoms start to develop e.g. indigestion, colon problems, liver problems, arteries, lymph. It’s all about circulation and getting the nutrients to the right parts. After that the body knows how to be healthy.

So how does flow and nutrition relate to mental health?

We process the energies of life in the same way, in through and out. We compare this to acceptance, understanding, compassion, learning, releasing, forgiving, transformation and evolution, and delight and enjoyment in the process. All our positive emotional experiences we can now see as the flow of the energy of life through our energy system. It feels good. Positive emotions arise from flow of these energies of life through our energy system and energy nutrition is the learning, the feel good factor, the growth, the transformation we get from that aspect of life. This is healthy flow. This is in fact how we are designed, just as the body is designed to be healthy. This is our natural starting state, until life happened!

What are blockages in the Energy Body?

So, as we can get blockage in the physical body, we get blockage in the energy body. For example, we avoid because we can’t handle something, we cannot accept, we resist, or we hurt if we do accept, we hold on, we don’t understand well, we don’t see clearly, we can’t forgive and we feel bad. These are our painful emotions and we feel this in the body too.

In fact, where we feel it in the body is where the energy is stuck.

Events of Life Stuck in Processing

So when we are not in that state of mental health that we defined above, it’s because something happened to us, an event that we processed through our energy system, but it got stuck along the way. Maybe it was too big to handle for a young energy system. So there it stayed, that energy forever attached to the thought or memory of that event, held in the energy body, at the physical location that we can feel, when we recall it. And life continues to happen, events upon events, stored causing further blockage and behaviors that arise from these blockages because somewhere along the way, the support wasn’t there to help that person process and release those events in life. So growth and learning didn’t happen. Nourishment of the spirit to bring confidence and strength didn’t happen.

Furthermore a blocked energy system, has reduced ability to process future events, coping ability is impaired. We emotionally react. Eventually the discomfort of handling life can be so great that disconnection is required, numbing out the feelings and ongoing pressure leads to depression.

It’s all Energy and Only Energy

It’s all a form of energy indigestion, energy constipation, and energetic injury of some kind.

Understanding this is really great news.

Now that we have energy release techniques in the growing field of energy psychology, such as EFT, EmoTrance, TAT and more, we can locate and release the blockage, restore the flow, and heal the energy system. Once more in flow, the state of health returns. We feel relaxed and free, we see clearly from a new perspective, we have new resources we didn’t have before for this situation. We have learned and grown. We are back to mental emotional and spiritual health. We can do this for all life events that got stuck in processing through the energy system and these techniques allow us to release the energy without having to talk about these events over and over again.

So, energy healing, also called healing the spirit, is a key to facilitating mental healing.

By the time a person is depressed, suffering chronic anxiety, has low confidence and self esteem, is numb or disconnected, there is a lot of life events stored in the energy system that need releasing.

A number of therapy sessions are recommend, using EFT or EmoTrance or TAT and there is unequivocal evidence gathered over many years from thousands of people of the effectiveness of these techniques to create mental healing and change. This can be a challenge to those who follow more conventional talk therapies and medication approaches, and so we find resistance from that sector, but thankfully, not from everyone.

The lack of specific nutrients in our diet has been shown to lead to vital processes not working well. The brain is an organ that needs food just as much as the rest of our body. New Health Care System: Unique Application

Article 5 of 12

In 3 -12 we discussed the basis of clinical laboratory science, and why it’s so representative of what’s happening in the human body. In article 4- 12 we discussed details of why there is such a vast amount of critical health related information available in a large clinical laboratory science profile pattern. Imagine any testing procedure so sensitive that it has millions of possible results.

But, why is this so significant in the fight for disease prevention and improved wellness levels? Because, with the right computer system the profile pattern will provide an extremely effective means of testing people for various levels of health along with the means of improving it.

Because of the extreme reach of the profile pattern to measure such minute differences taking place in the human organism, the various individual applications available within the proposed system, are almost limitless.

Initially, how about just recording the profile patterns of all diseased people, healthy people and extremely healthy people.

This information could be stored in the research computer systems with each case being related to the physical condition and the environment of the individual that it came from at the time the blood sample was drawn. When you do tens of millions of such cases a year, as spelled out in the book, a vast data bank is established with which massive amounts of research can be performed.

One significant example: how about hereditary weakness concerns within families with a tendency toward developing certain diseases. We know this is a fact, but what we don’t know is how simple it may be to completely solve the problem. It’s possible that the people in some families have a weakness in an area that can be easily resolved. For example, possibly even by just a simple addition to ones diet. Maybe as simple as tomato juice a couple of times a week or certain vegetables, fruits, vitamins, herbs and the list goes on and on. Or how about the avoidance of some chemicals such as insecticides or lawn herbicides or chemicals in food? Is this possible? Could such simple changes be that effective? We won’t know that for sure until we have the opportunity to check it out with this type of information system.

In addition to the tens of millions of cases that would be transmitted to the main national research center section, however, the national research center also has a separate volunteer section. That volunteer section is set up to basically do three things. Establish all measurable levels of wellness (in addition to disease states), test all chemicals manufactured, and test all possible remedies–including all the natural elements.

Measurable levels of wellness study: 20,000 volunteers would be tested with the profile pattern, every ninety days for five years. At each testing the volunteer’s health would also be recorded. The volunteers would intentionally be selected for the study in all stages of health. So as the study progresses the individual volunteers at their individual stages of health would continue to progress over the five year period some going through minor changes n their health, others major changes, thus providing thousands of measurable health situations. This would allow for the full evaluation of the preceding stages–including the stages preceding disease. It would provide an opportunity to set up the hundreds of analytical profile patterns for the pre-disease stages of health that are now missing–from the disease stages all the way to the normal plus stages.

Why Running is the Perfect Health Exercise

Most people start running to lose those few extra pounds, or to maintain that ideal body weight. Running soon becomes their exercise of choice for physical fitness.

Running requires a lot of energy from the body. Using the large leg muscles, as well as virtually every other muscle in the body, running burns more calories than nearly any other form of exercise. (just a tad fewer than cross-country skiing.)

Because of this, it is the perfect exercise for those looking to lose weight fast, or if you just want to stay slim and trim. It is also a great choice for overall good health – body and mind!

Running and Your Brain

Running is very good for the mind. Many of us find peace and relaxation while running; it helps clear your head. Research has shown that folks who participate in regular running report they are happier in general, than those who take part in no exercise, or other less strenuous forms of exercise.

The stress relief that runners feel is related to the hormones called endorphins that are released when you run, and a fantastic way to treat depression or…to just feel great!


Those who run on uneven surfaces such as hiking trails find that their coordination increases in addition to the many other benefits they receive from the sport.

People running on these surfaces have better control over their body movements due to the concentration they must put into keeping themselves upright.

Running Helps Everyone

When you choose to run in one of the many charitable marathons, (or walks) you not only receive a multitude of health benefits, but also that warm and fuzzy feeling of satisfaction in the knowledge that you’ve helped others with their particular affliction.

It may sound a bit corny, but it really does bring a remarkable feeling of health and well being, and gives you a much more positive outlook on life.

A Great Choice for a Healthy Heart

Running is also a great choice for those who want to increase their cardiovascular health. During running, the arteries get a tremendous workout. The heart has to work harder during this activity to pump blood throughout the entire body.

Frequent running makes the cardiac muscle stronger. This has the health benefit of lowering blood pressure and lessens the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

As we age

In addition to increased heart health, other muscles and bones also receive positive effects from the movements of being a runner. The physical demands placed on the bones and muscles of the body when a person runs; make them much stronger as well.

Additionally, a person is less likely to develop a disease such as osteoporosis as they age. The weakening of the bones and muscles as a person ages is not nearly as common in people who run, compared to those with a sedentary lifestyle.

It lowers the bad cholesterol, and raises the good kind, while increasing lung capacity, for better breathing and sounder sleeping. (runners sleep like babies)

In Conclusion

Running is a very popular sport that a lot of people become actively involved in once they get started. When continued on a regular basis, it can be very pleasurable, great for health of body and mind, helps with coordination, stronger muscles and bones as we get older, and can lead to the rewards only attained by giving back to others.

People choose different types of exercise for a variety of different reasons. While some do prefer running, many may choose to lift weights, perform aerobics, swim or any of various other physical fitness activities.

The importance of physical fitness is such that, whether it’s for fun, fitness, or weight control, it’s not so much what you do, but how often and how long you do it.

The longer and the more often, the better…but you knew that!
